Back At Work...


Brian Joseph Johns here. Been a very busy last few days.

I've been working on a coding project as I stated in yesterday's post that will speed up the process of producing audiobooks. 

I spent the early morning yesterday retrieving my cat from the roof of the building of my home office (its seven a story lowrise with my apartment on the seventh floor of the north east corner). Then, after his adventure I continued as usual.

Today I received a care package for my cat from the local Humane Society, which thus far has kept him from devouring the curtains or other soft, possible edible surfaces.

I got a bit of a social beating on my way there and back, and had a bit of a rant, but I'm nostly fine. I'm sure that there are some of you who know how it is. Regardless, I'm back on track with a few more new tools to protect myself from that sort of nonsense and focus on other things.

 I'm putting together a Thanksgiving Day Food And Donations Page where I'll list charities, some of which I'll be supporting over the holidays. Canadian  Thanksgiving Day occurs on October 13, 2025, which is the weekend that I'll be celebrating with a wild turkey or chicken dinner of some form.

So, nobody was or is controlling me at all, nor am I "possessed" by bits and pieces of anyone else's disembodied spirit for that matter. Nor am I possessed by a collective of such "possessing" spirits that must be cleaned from a person every day by a mostly abusive cult. I live and work in Canada, where its a hate crime to do such things, but many people unfortunately still do them. There's a lot more however who are making a real difference in the world, and that's the Canada that I know and love. So proud to have been a part of the movement towards a two state solution.
