Rokas Sensei, a Master of Aikido and student of mixed martial arts who has presented a lot of martial arts related content from his YouTube channel over the years has gone on to become the creator of a reality show championship called Ultimate Self Defense Championship (https://www.usdchampionship.com).
Season 1 and Season 2 of the web based show have been phenomenal successes amongst martial arts enthusiasts the world over, and the recently announced Season 3 is sure to top that with an incredible cast of competitors and events.
The series includes competitive bouts between contestants, but also a much more encompassing series of events designed to test not just their physical prowess as martial artists, but their temperament, their wits, their ability to work in teams and their ability to make quick judgement calls in difficult situations, with a few entertaining and fun events thrown in for good measure (did anyone say Zombie Apocalypse?).
