Welcome to the sci-fi fantasy electronic and alternative opera... I'm a secular Atheist/Agnostic that leans toward Buddhism and Taoism, but I do eat meat and fish. Chicken, pork and seafood mostly, but every once in a while I eat beef. I don't play guitar and I've never owned a guitar in my life, but they certainly sound good in the hands of a skilled player. Nobody has black skin, and nobody has white skin and no two people have *exactly* the same skin colour and that's a scientific fact: *everyone* has an entirely unique skin colour.

Sensei Rokas' Ultimate Self Defense Championship

I put a page up dedicated to Season 3 of the Ultimate Self Defense Championship. It can be found on the menu bar at the top of the site, just beneath the Shhhh! Digital logo.

The series includes competitive bouts between contestants, but also a much more encompassing series of events designed to test not just their physical prowess as martial artists, but their temperament, their wits, their ability to work in teams and their ability to make quick judgement calls in difficult situations, with a few entertaining and fun events thrown in for good measure (did anyone say Zombie Apocalypse?).

You might also want to check out our Martial Arts Events page as we've added some new content thanks to Martial Club. Perhaps one of the most awesomely incredible Martials Arts entertainment focused pages since Jade Xu.

This season looks to be spectactular, with a great line-up of combatants.

Enjoy, though not thanks to me. Thanks to these incredible martial artists and Rokas Sensei for his vision in creating such a unifying force that the martial arts community has needed for a long time!

Brian's (Shhhh! Digital) Current Software Activity

April 10, 2026 - 19:30 EST - Era of the Spellbound Ep12 as a work in progress is posted and on the top of the stack. It will be worked on regularly into next week until its finished. Aliens: Aeternity will definitely be getting an update tomorrow (Saturday), but Era of the Spellbound gets priority and will remain on top of the stack, but you can always catch Aliens: Aeternity on the navigation bar at the top of the website. Tonight, I've got a bone to pick with several games, including Conan Exiles to visit my Goddess. PUBG to take part in their awesome new Xeno event. World of Warships at some time after I download it again. Cyberpunk maybe. Bannerlord: Shokuho or Total War Shogun 2. Finally, Barotrauma or Total War Three Kingdoms. Tomorrow, its Total War Empire. Authenticity: Butterfly Dragon

I've trained formally to an intermediate level up until ten years ago in various martial arts including Goju Ryu/Goju Jujitsu Ryu, Aikido, Tai Kwon Do and Tai Chi. I am *not* an expert and have never touted *myself* as being one, but I do my best to represent the knowledge, tradition and moral compass of martial arts expertise available on the internet and throughout the world and in the context of a story. Authenticity: Tales of the Sanctum/Era of the Spellbound

Given the nature of the very concepts of magic, esotericism and mysticism, authenticity is a very difficult framework to apply to those who write about those topics. As is the case with Butterfly Dragon, I draw from a life experience that took me in many different directions, and often close to the heights and depths of those paradigms. Certainly enough so to have an imagination and opinion about how those sorts of things play out existentially as part of a larger vision by those who practice such branches of the interpretation of the nature of reality. I'm certain that those well versed in these arts probably watch from the comfort of their darkness and light.
