I just wanted to let you know what's going on here at Shhhh! Digital Media, and what the near future will bring.
First of all, I've been working hard getting the next two episodes of Era of the Spellbound and Heroes Of Our Own Reimagined in their web format.
Next week I'll be spending the entire week working on the audiobook format releases for both episodes and expect to have them posted by Thursday and Friday (September 19).
I'll be spending some time working on other releases, whose material is related to other series I've been planning for some time, not to mention one or two more episodic series that are derived from the recent retcon of the Tales of the Sanctum and the Butterfly Dragon universe. The final chapter of We Who Stand On Guard (before the retcon) will also be coming out in the next few weeks. It will deal with Dina's experiences in the aftermath of the Red Sea detonation incident, and examine aspects of the current real life situation and politics involved in Gaza, presenting the issue from all sides.
On the gaming front, I've been playing Stellaris recently, and will probably be into that a bit over the weekend (playing as a variety of different civs - good and bad), between a bit of exercise and calisthenics, and taking down identity thieving or identity replacing cults, hopefully without grasping too tightly, the ego. Its good for when you need to shore up a lack of confidence in order to get over the fear or risk of failure (as Gallea from Era of the Spellbound pointed out in episode 5), but too much is and can be just as destructive as too little. When ideologies take your identity from you, in most cases where it isn't connected to some form of financial crime, they're simply trying to push you to grasp ego and to cling to it, as if in order to be yourself you need their validation, or the implication that you are only the marketing version of what you present to the world. In all truth we're all so much more but be careful of what you share and with who. You don't need their validation for anything, and the only validation you should accept from others is the encouragement that you're willing to give, as much so as constructive input.
Thank you for reading (and now listening) to my content and I look forward to publishing new material next week.
Have a great weekend! I'll be spending much of it managing a galaxy, or steamy vacationing in Europe and Southeast Asia...
