Welcome to the sci-fi fantasy electronic and alternative opera... I'm a secular Atheist/Agnostic that leans toward Buddhism and Taoism, but I do eat meat and fish. Chicken, pork and seafood mostly, but every once in a while I eat beef. I don't play guitar and I've never owned a guitar in my life, but they certainly sound good in the hands of a skilled player. Nobody has black skin, and nobody has white skin and no two people have *exactly* the same skin colour and that's a scientific fact: *everyone* has an entirely unique skin colour.

Brian's (Shhhh! Digital) Current Software Activity

April 5, 2026 - 11:15 EST - Happy Spring Renewal, a time of year that from a historical perspective has symbolized the arrival and renewal brought about by Spring. A chance to begin again, with equal day and night, and the light gradually (until June 20/21) taking the stage with ever longer days and shorter nights. Every culture throughout the world calls it something different, and has their own icon(s) who embody this renewal. So lets get over the politics of who and what, and get on with what it really means. I'll be playing and probably watching some flicks quite a bit today. I worked hard last week, so I'm going to play hard and relax. I've got a few lined up already (including Conan Exiles as my Butterfly Dragon inspired, katana wielding Queen of her immense fortresses). I'm also looking at a purple saint's surprise for today ;-) but don't let that fool you into thinking I'm losing my red touch. Also, there's going to be some more Disney involved that thematically fits. Finally, later tonight, when I'm tipsy, I'll probably stare longingly at photos or videos of very classy women just being themselves. Lets Spring into action then... Authenticity: Butterfly Dragon

I've trained formally to an intermediate level up until ten years ago in various martial arts including Goju Ryu/Goju Jujitsu Ryu, Aikido, Tai Kwon Do and Tai Chi. I am *not* an expert and have never touted *myself* as being one, but I do my best to represent the knowledge, tradition and moral compass of martial arts expertise available on the internet and throughout the world and in the context of a story. Authenticity: Tales of the Sanctum/Era of the Spellbound

Given the nature of the very concepts of magic, esotericism and mysticism, authenticity is a very difficult framework to apply to those who write about those topics. As is the case with Butterfly Dragon, I draw from a life experience that took me in many different directions, and often close to the heights and depths of those paradigms. Certainly enough so to have an imagination and opinion about how those sorts of things play out existentially as part of a larger vision by those who practice such branches of the interpretation of the nature of reality. I'm certain that those well versed in these arts probably watch from the comfort of their darkness and light.
