Birthday!

Welcome to the sci-fi fantasy electronic and alternative opera... I'm a secular Atheist/Agnostic that leans toward Buddhism and Taoism, but I do eat meat and fish. Chicken, pork and seafood mostly, but every once in a while I eat beef. I don't play guitar and I've never owned a guitar in my life, but they certainly sound good in the hands of a skilled player. Nobody has black skin, and nobody has white skin and no two people have *exactly* the same skin colour and that's a scientific fact: *everyone* has an entirely unique skin colour.

Birthday!

Celebrated my birthday on Saturday, though it was a small party. I have to say that I'm certainly grateful to have arrived at the wonderful age of 58.

I'm planning a more formal night of dinner and drinks in the near future to seal the deal, and of course there's always SAPCHoP as well ;-)

I hope that your weekend was well. I'll see you next week when I continue work on We Who Stand On Guard, Butterfly Dragon Reimagined and Era of the Spellbound.

Shhhh! Digital Daily Plan: May 16, 2026 - 10:00 EST

I started writing today at about 10:00 EST and had a bit planned, but my browser crashed and I lost all of the work. I was writing the section of the story with Jennifer's Bridal Shower, which Stanton arrives at before something goes awry, when the browser tab mysteriously crashed. Usually that's a sign of purposeful hacking, so I've decided that I'll call it a loss and won't be writing for today. I've already worked for my four hours today, so I'll probably just lay low for the time being, and continue working on Monday. I'm Brian Joseph Johns ♏🪄🦋🐉 and this is Shhhh! Digital Media. I'm a secular atheist that leans toward Buddhism and Taoism. I'm not a Jehovah's Witness, or a Mormon, or a member of Prince Hall and never have been. Gaming: May 15, 2026

There will be something in store later tonight, probably closer to 8 PM, though I'm hoping to balance computer time with effective maintenance exercise and physical activity. I'm also hoping to find a balance between science on one hand, and magic on the other, with a good measure of strategy, with politics thrown in for good measure. Civ? Humankind? Age of Mythology: Retold? Total War Warhammer? Also, on the more therapeutic side of gaming, a nice drive might be called for as well, as I do have a load of Atlantic Cod that's due in Slovakia in Euro Truck 2 in my pink ribbon truck.

Shhhh! Digital Media and Bob

There is no Bob that works for Shhhh! Digital Media, or that has a hand at writing anything here, but any time that Bob Lazar has something to say with regard to extra-terrestrial technology, I'm usually listening. Its a pretty interesting topic, not to mention the possibilities, despite the idiom: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Consider that car accidents didn't exist simply for the reason that before the invention of traffic cameras and smart phones, nobody had ever caught a car accident on video. We were only left with the aftermath.
