Welcome to the sci-fi fantasy electronic and alternative opera... For your information, Shhhh! Digital Media is in no way associated with the Salvation Army or any other religious or ideological organization. I myself have no association with them as well. There are people trying to sell you a much different picture of who I actually am and what I'm about than is the truth. I do not live or work in a homeless shelter with all due respect, nor do I live or work in a prison. I am an advocate for the charities represented here on Shhhh! Digital Media, but I am not a volunteer. I choose to do the best I can, where and when I can. I've never worked as a security guard in my life, but it is an honest way to make a living for an honest person, especially if they don't take the identity of other people. Shhhh! Digital Media is not located in New York, or anywhere in the United States, but perhaps once more in my life, I'd certainly like to visit from my home City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. How's that for the business of marketing my home city?

If You Don't Accept Me As I Am, Then Don't Read My Content

I'm Brian Joseph Johns. I am not a Hell's Angel by the way, nor am I a member of the Salvation Army  or a Scientologist and my name is not Bob, and Bob is not my father, and I've never had a girlfriend with a bob hairstyle, but my last two girlfriends starting with the most recent, are from Korea and from China.

I am not from Nova Scotia and have never been there.

I've never used cocaine in any form. I don't really consider myself to be on the blue team or the brown team, as I'm not part of the red, blue, brown palette. I'll stick with my Shhhh! Digital Media colours of red black, red white, red yellow and red grey and nobody has black skin and nobody has white skin and no two people have the same skin colour.

I'm a guy, European Canadian about 6 feet tall. I'm about 175 lbs. I'm fairly fit for my age.

I am not African, or Caribbean (ie Jamaican, Trinidian or from St. Kitts or the Bahamas). I am not Guyanese.

My declaring that I am not of those cultures is NOT a hate crime or hate speech at all, nor is my stating that I do not have brown skin (except a few age spots).

In fact, its a hate crime to replace a person's identity in order to replace their culture, their religion, their gender or any aspect of their identity that is protected under the Charter Of Rights And Freedoms and the Human Rights Act (in Canada where I reside). I imagine that its that way in most places in the world that observe the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

I'm heterosexual, meaning that I'm attracted to women, though not trans but that doesn't mean that I oppose LGBTQ2 rights, though in all truth, why would anyone defend the rights of any group that doesn't support the rights of those defending them? I mean, if I stick up for their rights, it only seems just that they'd stick up for mine, but that isn't reciprocated often, if at all, but I've never asked for or requested that of them.

I mean, its not like I'm the kind of guy who would commit a home invasion (as if I would EVER do that) and assault a man who flirted with me, and/or pinched my ass.

That's happened to me before a few times (a man flirting with me and pinching my ass), and my reaction was "thanks, I'm flattered, but no thanks. I don't swing in that direction".

I didn't fly off the handle into a rage and bludgeon them or hurt them in any way, other than turning them down. I barely flinched. I'm comfortable with myself and my own sexuality enough so that I don't need to fly into a rage when someone steps over that boundary.

People that do fly into a rage over things of that nature are either: at odds with their own sexuality and identity in some way shape or form and are afraid to confront the issue or; they've been subjected to the treatment of people who've stepped over their personal space and boundaries one too many times

In either case, some form of therapy or support is needed for such a person, lest they become a ticking time bomb.

I am not transgender or a cross dresser either and never have been and don't see myself being one any time in the future, though I have to say that I always had a soft spot for Ed Wood Jr. There is no hate in making a clear distinction of one's own life style or behaviour.

I don't hire in or out for sex either. In such a case where there's an itch that needs to be scratched, I'd much rather go it alone, if not to enjoy a very natural aspect of life, then to piss off Doctor John Kellogg or Sylvester Graham in the hopes of making them roll over in their graves. Who is the more sick? Someone who seeks a little pleasure and release that is completely natural, or someone who spurs a movement that yields devices of that nature. I'm not just speaking up for men you know, but also for women.

I mean, if you think that just hiring out for sex is the better option...

How about these statistics with regard to sex trafficking in the United States and Canada?

Violence by traffickers

Sex traffickers routinely use physical beatings, sexual assault, choking, burning, branding, and threats to control victims, with US DOJ analyses distinguishing "aggressive" traffickers who rely on extreme violence and have prior violent records.

In Canada, police data links 15% of violent secondary offenses in sex-trade incidents to human trafficking (2009–2014), with trafficking incidents often involving prostitution as a related offense.
Hotline and survivor reports in both countries describe isolation, emotional abuse, and torture as common, with violence escalating if victims try to escape.
Violence by customers

Customer violence appears in homicide data and police reports, such as Canada's Homicide Survey showing sex-trade workers as victims, though rates slightly declined post-2014 law changes amid rising trafficking reports.

US trafficking cases often involve buyers assaulting victims under trafficker coercion, with child sex-trafficking reports highlighting repeated rapes and beatings.
Both nations note that traffickers expose victims to violent clients to enforce compliance, blending customer and trafficker violence.
Health and disease risks

Sex-trafficked victims face high STI rates (HIV, syphilis, HPV, hepatitis), pelvic inflammatory disease, unwanted pregnancies, substance abuse, and chronic pain from forced unprotected sex and poor conditions.

Canadian studies on sex workers (including trafficked) report elevated HIV (up to 17% in some Indigenous groups), amplified by drug use, anal sex, and risky partners.
US CDC data ties trafficking to sexual violence and preventable diseases, with traffickers often denying healthcare access.

How is substance dependency involved in sex trafficking?

Substance dependency is a frequent tactic used by traffickers in both the US and Canada to coerce women into prostitution, with studies and victim reports showing traffickers exploit existing addictions, introduce drugs to create dependency, or withhold substances to enforce compliance. This method is documented in hotline data, federal reports, and survivor interviews as one of the most powerful non-violent control tools, often alongside physical coercion.
Prevalence in US data

Traffickers exploited victims' substance issues in about 33% of active federal sex-trafficking cases in 2017, more than any other single coercion method like romantic relationships.

Polaris Project found 15% of surveyed survivors reported induced substance abuse, while one study noted 84% of sex-trafficking survivors had substance use during victimization, including 25% with heroin specifically.

Controllers often recruit during vulnerable moments like rehab discharge, supply drugs to build dependency, and then ration them, making escape harder.
Prevalence in Canada data

Canadian police data does not quantify drug dependency frequency in trafficking cases, but national strategies and victim services highlight it as a key coercion factor, especially in sex-trade-related trafficking where 53% of incidents involve additional sex offenses.

Reports describe traffickers using drugs to manipulate, similar to US patterns, with services addressing co-occurring addiction in survivors who face barriers to exit and recovery.
Indigenous and youth victims are noted as particularly vulnerable, with drugs compounding isolation and control in domestic trafficking networks.
How traffickers weaponize it

Traffickers target those with prior addictions or introduce drugs (e.g., opioids, heroin) to create reliance, using withdrawal as leverage.

Victims may self-medicate trauma, which traffickers exploit to maintain obedience and complicate legal cases due to impaired recall or criminal records.

This tactic persists post-escape, raising re-victimization risk without treatment.

...

I am only speaking for Canada and the United States in this case. There are other countries whose sex trafficking activity is on par with or much worse, though there are also countries where prostitution networks are not run by criminal gangs, and might even be legal, and in an environment where women's safety is a high priority, or the fair and good treatment of women is a cultural standard (Certainly Japan, China and Korea for instance, and there's always Amsterdam of course).

So in the logic of men like Doctor John Kellogg or Sylvester Graham, its far better to subject women to the risk of violence, disease and substance dependency, than it is to allow women to call the shots with regard to how they exploit themselves from the safety of their own surroundings online (and often anonymously) if they are inclined to seek to do so, or in adult movies where women (and men) are often required to provide Doctor's clean slate of health, they're safe, and treated very well and likely very healthy.

I myself have never been involved with the sex trade, though where it involves consenting *adults* fully aware that they are being broadcast/recorded, I honestly see no harm in the activity and I'd never tell a woman what she can and can't do with her own body.

I might fantasize about something like that (telling her what to do), but I'd never actually conduct myself in life that way unless she was employed for me and I was in a supervising role, though I'm certain that women with whom I've worked where that was the situation would vouch for me.

In much the same way, I've never told any of my ex-girlfriends what they can and can't think about me when we were being intimate. I'd qualify a girlfriend as being a woman with whom I was seriously involved, intimate with over a period of three months, and who enjoyed kissing as much as I did, and the only exception to that rule would be my most recent Korean ex.

Enough said on those matters.

I'm generally attracted to Asian and European women, and that's the way I am. That's the way I've always been and the way I always will be and in being so, it was never a case of my trying to take the history of someone else's identity and wear it as my own. I even enjoy Southeast Asian erotic content and I see no harm in that whatsoever, myself being an adult who is attracted to the company of other adults, though I am certainly not the kind of guy who sleeps around, frequently if at all. My last romantic encounter was in 2010, with a very attractive Korean woman, and I'm very grateful for that time as I am with every one of my previous serious relationships, and I am not remembering someone else's life as if it were my own. I don't do that and never have, but there are predatory groups that collectively do unfortunately.

Also, I am not a member of any religious organization whatsoever and never have been. So I'm not a member of the Salvation Army for instance, and not a member of any group for whom a barter system exists that exploits people by taking the credit for their work/effort as payment for anything

The people making my weight heavy for others have nothing to do with me and most of the time it isn't even my weight, and I see them as a very big problem for society right now. They're basically selectively making the weight of whom they choose very heavy, very light or alternately no weight at all from those who they're promoting in some way shape or form.

It seems that I am a person that one or more of these predatory groups have attempted to try to erase. I say the word try because that's exactly what they'd done, tried but not succeeded very obviously. I mean, here I am, writing this post, though many of them might try to implore that it is a different person writing this than myself. That is their modus operandi after all.

Despite being bombarded by the activity of abusive predatory groups that use colour symbolism as a vehicle for replacing other people's identities, swapping identities or just plain turning the concept of identity into a matter of the equivalent of drawing names out of a hat every day, I am not a part of any such ideology and will not fold to them or their efforts, which is probably why I am considered to be a ghost of sorts. A ghost is a person who does not exist, unless they borrow the identity of another person, who usually gets the credit for whatever the ghost achieves, as a payment for renting them their identity.

I believe that the idea behind it is a mechanism used by groups that practice aggressive religious conversion to implore the target to convert to their religion in order to be considered once again to exist. Born again perhaps? Risen from the proverbial grave of a metaphorical death? I have no intent of joining any such religion and never will.

I'm alive whether you like it or not as of this writing and if you don't agree with or accept me as I am, with my own name and identity, or require me to pay you through some corrupt social barter system by giving you the credit for my effort, then don't read my content and don't come back. I won't miss you.

If on the other hand, you agree with what I've posted here, or at least some of it, enough for you have stuck around to read this far and are willing to go along with what I've stated in the paragraph above, welcome aboard. I've taken many beatings in life, but I never give up.

But I always give credit where credit is due.

Speaking of which, the data concerning sex trafficking was made possible by Perplexity AI and their AI integrated Comet browser. A tool that has proven its worth beyond measure when it comes to any in-depth task, from researching for my books, episodes and stories here on Shhhh! Digital Media, to putting together data like the data I've posted here in this post, complete with citations which can be perused below.

Have an enjoyable day.
