Alien: Earth Quick Review...

Absolutely incredible art direction and concept work. Obvious heralding of both Ridley Scott's Alien, and James Cameron's Aliens (with the weapon tech carried by the Emergency Response Team) .

Several nods to David Fincher's  Alien 3 (which takes place on Fury 161). Hopefully, Newt and Hicks are still alive in this new canon and if not, I've elected to ensure that they are with an upcoming Shhhh! Digital canon Aliens series that takes place after the movie Aliens, without interfering with Fincher's Alien 3, while retaining continuity with Cameron's Aliens.

Alien: Earth is the best descendent from the original Ridley Scott film that I've seen, short of Aliens. It clearly acknowledges the first three films, while setting precedent both in terms of story telling, and art direction that clearly follows suit of  Ridley Scott's (and H.R. Giger's) Alien.

Incredible work Disney, and especially to the director and crew of this great show.

Don't worry though. I'll bring the surviving marines, and a few more back to life with my new fan fiction story based in their world.

Colonial Marines! Get in line, and don't you worry! I've got your back!
