A Lady's Prerogative For Hallow's Eve: What Superstition Wields (Finished First Draft: Artwork to come)

This is my yearly Halloween story, though last year I kind of wove the Halloween and Santa Claus story into one if you remember and came up with a funny bit involving Barris and Sato early on in their friendship as they have guests for the seasonal holiday. This year I'm bringing Halloween and A Lady's Prerogative home to my country of Canada and my home province of Ontario. This story takes place in Ontario, though far north up into territory occupied by far fewer than in the Great Lakes region of Canada (and the United States). I hope that you enjoy it. As a side note, I recently did a rant post (the Rant-zilla post if you recall as it was the last one) really attacking the problem of harassment, as it has been plaguing me for years in both the online world (very covertly) and the offline world very overtly. Everything I stated in that post I meant with all of my heart and being, and I will not apologize for any of it. This has already gone way too far, and a post of that nat

Second Dose

Got my second dose of the MRNA Vaccine a couple of weeks ago...

Hard to believe that this little piece of paper could mean so much to one's life and health. Actually not the paper, the vaccine itself but having that second dose really is important.

Ironically, I was playing Stellaris over the weekend and ran into several scenarios involving vaccination, where it didn't exactly work out well for the vaccinated, and that set off a whole slew of harassment from my local stalkers that ran all night right through until today. Something to the effect of labeling me as either being Donald Trump or a Jehovah's Witness.

I say this with all due respect, I'm not American, much less Presbyterian and certainly not anti-Masonic or anti-Rosicrucian so I'm definitely not Donald Trump. Also, I am a registered blood and organ donor, which means I certainly would be banned from ever being a Jehovah's Witness.

I certainly believe in everyone's right to choose their own belief (or none at all) but I don't think we live in the day and age where that point of view is tolerated much unfortunately. It would seem that there are people who haven't read the Charter Of Rights And Freedoms and the Human Rights Act or just simply disregard them.

I'm actually an Atheist that leans towards Buddhism and Taoism.

I'll keep playing Stellaris, but I'll be sure to check out any mods, filtering them that might contain content purposely targeting me or others like myself.
